The CAA 3rd Quarter 2018 grinds is 196,418 metric tons, an increase of 3.70% compared to corresponding 2017 period, and an increase of 5.95% compared to the previous quarter (2nd Qtr 2018).
This quarter’s numbers reflects the continuous strong demand of cocoa ingredients. This is the 11th consecutive quarter of comparable grind increases for the Asian region. This was another record Q3 number and if the trend continues into Quarter 4 then 2018 would be another record year for CAA grind.
